Johan Theron – Lead Audio Engineer
Johan Theron, our Lead Audio Engineer and Co-Owner, is a super-fast, talented, award-winning, solid Audio Engineer, with extensive industry experience at various high-end facilities.
He began his career at Soundnet at 19 years old, and in just 3 years was offered a position at Chris Fellows Sound Studios, the pinnacle of film sound, at the time. He quickly became a “go-to guy” in the audio world and was snapped up from Chris Fellows by The Refinery around 2001, thereafter creating his sole proprietorship as “Soundpatch Studio”, which he ran from The Refinery, and later from the audio hub that existed at Produce Sound in Bryanston.
Johan is a “heavy-weight” in Audio, with great technical knowledge. (He also loves running.)
Lesley-Anne Roe – Audio Producer
Our service is enhanced by Producer and Co-Owner, Lesley-Anne Roe.
Les’ career spans 30 years, within Advertising and Post Production, her most recent tenure being as a Senior Integrated Producer for Ogilvy SA, Johannesburg, for 15 years.
Her passion for production in general, technical knowledge, attention to detail, efficiency, tenacity, and sense of humour, is an asset to the company and to our Clients, in turn. (She also loves to laugh at her own jokes.)
